In this class, students in second grade will learn addition, subtraction, time, and multiplication using hands-on activities and manipulatives such as pop its, an abacus, or other manipulatives. Students can join this class at any time and we will continue to rotate through the lessons, so even if they have missed a lesson they can join at any time and we will cycle back around to it. Each week, a thoughtfully chosen variety of manipulatives will be used in teaching. Notably, the selection will differ weekly, ensuring a focused approach. It's essential to understand that not all listed manipulatives will be used each week, aligning with specific learning goals and enhancing the learning experience. This class may occasionally utilize game site Blooket to reinforce concepts. Parental consent is required please see parental guidance.
