Small Group Reading Tutor Level 3 | Vowel Teams & Word Patterns for Dyslexia

This class meets twice a week as an intensive intervention for struggling readers.

Each day will have a similar structure starting with drill work, building up to reading a decodable passage together.

Each class session builds on the previous class and includes multiple opportunities for practice and review of previously taught skills.

📖 INTENSIVE READING INSTRUCTION
Learners who are reading below grade level often require intensive reading support. Recent studies from the National Bureau of Economic Research show that high-dosage tutoring, with at least three weekly sessions lasting 30 minutes each, is key for academic success.

Ongoing assessment and progress monitoring are fundamental aspects of my approach to ensure each student's steady progress. I continuously evaluate the effectiveness of my lessons, and make necessary adjustments.
