US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
Beginner Level
Start your learner on their journey to become a future bookworm! In this class we will start learning phonics with an introduction to the sounds of the alphabet. Learners will learn about vowels and consonants, learn the sounds of the consonants and the short sound of each vowel. In each class we will sing a song or two, learn 2-3 letter sounds and play a game! Our game will often include the sounds that we have been learning over the past few weeks to help learners review. If your learner is new, they will still be able to participate and play along! They may not know all the answers just yet, but that's ok! Worksheets will be posted in the classroom after each meeting to allow learners to get some more practice with the sounds we learned! Here is our upcoming schedule: Feburary: Week of February 3: S and A Week of February 10: T and E Week of February 17: C and M Week of February 24: R and O
