I will be teaching your child how to become a confident reader by teaching them how to blend consonant, vowel, and consonant words with silent e, such as game, cake, hike etc.  Our lessons will also include a brain break. - Learner Expectations: The learner should be kind, safe, and respectful. 

 Small group classes allow each student time to practice reading and allow me to provide immediate corrective feedback. These two practices are crucial for struggling learners. 


How to Optimize Tutoring Sessions

The learner should:
• Attend  sessions.
• Be focused and participate in the reading activities.
• Be on time.
• Have a writing notebook and pencil ready for spelling.
• Have a grown-up nearby in case technical assistance is needed.


• Reschedule/Cancellations
We must value each other's time. Once enrolled, please provide 24-hour notice to request to reschedule a session. 
No-shows or last-minute cancellations will not be offered a make-up session or refunded.

• Please arrive on time.
It is important to be logged in on time. Missed minutes will not be made up. 
I will wait 10 minutes for late arrivals, then log off. This is in accordance with Outschool policy.
