Reading Is Fun! Reading Intervention Young Readers Club Reading Comprehension

As a reading interventionist, my goal is to help learners to establish reading skills that will help learners read with confidence. In this class, learners will practice their reading skills and reading comprehension skills. 
Learners will learn to sequence, look for context clues and decode words they don't know.
I will distribute a vocabulary list that we will review before reading the passages that will be provided by the teacher.

 Learners will get a list of sight words and vocabulary words.

Learners will focus on the language of the passage. The readers read in the text and focus on the new vocabulary, grammatical forms, the purpose of the author, and the problems of the text.

The goal for this weekly club is for learners to establish and build their confidence while reading.
