Writing Fun - Using Our Five Senses in Creative Writing - Private Class

In this class we will first discuss  the five senses - sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. We will talk about how these senses help us explore the world.  I will then introduce each sense individually and we will talk about action verbs that can be used while writing about that sense. We will practice creating exciting sentences that provide specific details  based on a particular sense.  The student will compare "boring" sentences with "exciting" sentences.  We will learn to make sentences more specific by referring to our five sentences.  All of my classes are fun and casual.   This is a private class, so your child will have my undivided attention.  This is a stand alone class and no previous knowledge is required.  Please note, this is a discussion based class, students will not be writing, but will engage in active conversation.
