Get ready to let your imagination run wild! In this exciting creative writing class, we'll combat writer’s block, build core writing skills, and turn awesome ideas into stories. We’ll kick things off with a fun icebreaker before a mini-lesson on writing techniques. Writers will brainstorm, explore story elements, and dive into thought-provoking prompts across various genres. I will provide engaging, thought-provoking prompts or pictures related to various genres to inspire discussion. As the teacher, I will facilitate the conversation and encourage students to think creatively. Students will learn how to turn those ideas into story plots. Students will be directed to independent writing time (about 20 minutes) which will allow students to develop their stories and I’ll be there to support and guide as needed. Sharing is encouraged but never required! I’ll provide feedback to help strengthen each student’s work. This interactive and welcoming environment is all about creativity, growth, and having fun with writing I hope to see you in class :)

Hello! My name is Alizae Mohamed! For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher which is why I decided to pursue a bachelors in elementary education.
I have a B.A in Childhood Education and I am very passionate about teaching. I am a teacher by profession, but most importantly, I'm a lifelong learner who is always seeking new ways to make learning fun and attainable for each student.
My classes are a safe place for your student to learn, discover, and have fun! My goal is to make learning fun and meaningful for each student. I design my lessons to ensure that each student has the opportunity to express themselves and to share their ideas. My lessons will engage your learner and make them excited for learning!
