Mastery Evaluation
1-2 hours per week. Most desserts should take students between 1-2 hours to complete. Students will have the option to share how their desserts turned out, what challenges they may have faced, and what they are excited to pursue next. For self-paced courses, communication with me will be very consistent and timely. If your learner has a question or needs assistance while working through the course, I will be sure to respond as soon as possible (a max time of 24 hours of when they sent their message). If a student is looking for feedback on their baked goods, I will be sure to give that back to them within 24 hours. If there are differences in my communication abilities I will be sure to share that with the learner.
Certificate of Completion
I can send a certificate of completion upon request of the student or parent! If a student is looking for feedback on their baked goods, I will be sure to give that back to them within 24 hours.

Class Experience

Beginner - Intermediate Level
IF THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH FINANCING FOR THIS CLASS, PLEASE MESSAGE ME! I want to make sure that students get to participate in as many classes as possible. Additionally, if your student is taking multiple classes from me, please reach out so we can get a discount for you and your family!

In this sweet, Wizarding World and Harry Potter inspired baking class, we are going to make a variety of yummy treats to share with friends and family! Your child will get to practice clean kitchen skills, accurate measuring, equipment handling, and learn new recipes to make and share! Throughout this class, we will be developing our skills in cooking, creativity, reading and following written instructions, and basic math skills. We are going to learn important life skills and develop our cooking and baking skills.

Most, if not all, of our treats are made from staple household ingredients such as flour, sugar, vanilla, baking soda, and butter. But, there may be some specific ingredients that will be needed for each treat. These will be listed more specifically in the supplies list each week. Learners will also want to wear an apron or clothes that are ok with getting dirty as baking can get a little messy! All recipes are going to be made using very basic kitchen equipment such as a handheld mixer/ stand mixer, whisk, large bowl, oven, and stove safe pans. We will measure out the ingredients together during the video!

I also want to advise that many of the recipes will include the use of the oven, stovetop, or knife so depending on age and ability, parent supervision may be needed for this class.

I hope I get the chance to bake with you!

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOUR LEARNER HAS ALL OF THE SUPPLIES LISTED IN THE SUPPLIES LIST! I only put supplies on the list that your child will absolutely need. If they are missing an ingredient, they may not be successful in baking the treat for that session. If you have any questions about substitutions or things of that nature, please reach out to me!
