What's so Funny? Comprehension With Pics, GIFs, & Memes- BACK TO SCHOOL

Hello, my name is Alane Wright and I am excited to teach with Outschool!  I will be providing classes with a strong focus on English Language Arts, Science, and Math grades 2-6.  I am a certified teacher with a degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Prek-3rd, Early Childhood Development, English as a Second Language, and Exceptional Student Education.  I also hold a current Florida Educator's Certificate in Elementary Education.

My experience includes over 23 years of teaching in an array of situations from preschool to sixth grade, and two years teaching English online. I have planned instruction for large groups over 100, classes of 20-30, small groups, and individuals. I am well versed in adjusting my level of instruction based on the needs of my learners. One of my favorite things to teach outside of school is kickball, I'm a coach for a team in my community! 

The most important thing about me is that I am really passionate about helping children ENJOY learning.  I want to foster a thirst for learning in each student, so I work hard to make my lessons engaging, attainable, challenging, and most of all....FUN! 

I have two children (daughter 25 and son 13) and have been married for 25 years. I love my family, my students, and making a positive impact. Thank you considering a class with me, I look forward to helping your child grow!
