This class will provide students with an opportunity to venture through the world of reading while developing better comprehension skills and becoming a great reader overall. Taking this class while help students expand their comprehension skills while developing the ability to think beyond the text. Students will be provided with opportunities to use and ignite higher level comprehension skills while reading independently. I will teach this class using a variety of instructional techniques and activities.  Instruction in this class will take place in a group setting. Students will be provided with the opportunity to respond, share, reflect, and enhance their comprehension and reading skills. Students will interact through group discussion, video clips, slides, games, graphic organizers, variety of passages, and different types of literature. Technology will also be integrated using Youtube, Kahoot, Nearpod, and Canva. This techniques will engage the learners while providing a challenin but great learning experience.
