Middle School Reading Comprehension
As a licensed English teacher I am creating tutoring plans for students who have specific needs to fill in learning gaps or practice current skills. I am able to align our lessons with standards to prepare students for their actual classes.
Class Experience
US Grade 5 - 8
Beginner - Intermediate Level
I will cover topics specific to each students' grade level and goals. My class will be structured with powerpoints and active google slides for students to work on, as well as short stories (or longer reads) for students to go through and answer prompts on. I will teach will a mix of independent or guided work, as well as with discussions and reflections/check-ins on subjects and student experience. This class is taught in English.
I am a licensed English teacher who has worked in person and online with students ages 11-22. I have been teaching a total of 8 years, online for 2 of those years.
Lessons can support students with ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning needs if notified in advance.
Student should be reading at a 4th grade reading level minimum.
Source material will vary based on student/parent agreement.
