Class Experience

Beginner - Intermediate Level
Learn to read music on Violin and Viola, learning basic music theory, as well as note identification and rhythm counting. I am a Suzuki teacher, I truly believe that music reading should be done separately from technique building and working on repertoire. This class is meant to help students become comfortable in reading and help them become more confident in their lessons and orchestras.
Learning Goals
Note Recognition
Rhythm counting and Recognition- Whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, eight notes and 16 notes.
