This is Part 1 of a National Park Series and will cover the following parks: -Grand Canyon -Mount Rainier -Yosemite -Yellowstone

Grand Canyon National Park
Explore the Grand Canyon and all it has to offer. We will look at the ecosystems, the variety of wildlife and the plants within the park. We will discover any endangered species in the park and learn about conservation efforts. Students will engage in an interactive Nearpod activity and have additional printable resources to extend their learning at home.
Lesson 2:
Mount Rainier National Park
Explore the Mount Rainier National Park and its beautiful ecosystem and wildlife within it. We will learn about the most common animals and plants within the park as well as fun facts about the park. Students will engage in an interactive Nearpod activity and have additional printable resources to extend their learning at home.
Lesson 3:
Yosemite National Park
Explore the Yosemite National Park, the wildlife and plants within it and famous facts about the park. We will also learn about rare animals and any conservation efforts. Students will engage in an interactive Nearpod activity as well as additional printables to extend their learning at home.
Lesson 4:
Yellowstone National Park
Explore Yellowstone National Park and the beautiful wildlife, plants and geysers within the park. Learn about geysers and what they do, endangered species within the park and other fun facts. Students will engage in an interactive Nearpod activity as well as additional printables to extend their learning at home.

Hi everyone! Welcome to class! I am Miss Kate. I have 15+ years of teaching experience with students ages 2-14 years old. I am passionate about early childhood education and building the foundation for life long learning. My classes will be engaging and focus on a variety of topics including early literacy, early math and life skills. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and 3 (yes, three) big dogs!
