In this 4-week class we will rewatch the Christmas episodes of The Office (American) and test your Office knowledge by playing Blooket trivia games.

Homework
1 hour per week. Homework will be to watch episodes of "The Office" and come to class ready to talk about the episode and play Blooket. We will refer to the television show "The Office" (American version) episodes: Season 2 Episode 10 Season 3 Episode 10 Season 5 Episode 10 Season 6 Episode 13 Season 7 Episode 11 Season 8 Episode 10 Season 9 Episode 9

Class Experience

Do you have a "The Office" fan? Or maybe looking for something fun to during the Christmas season? This is a chance for learners to test their knowledge about the American television show "The Office." Learners will answer trivia questions on the platform Blooket about "The Office" Christmas episodes. During the game learners will compete to earn the highest score. Any fan of "The Office" will love testing their knowledge. The trivia questions will come only from the Christmas episodes. There are about 50 trivia questions for each class. Each class has a different set of questions from the class's scheduled episode.  The class starts with 10 minutes of leaners sharing what their favorite moment from the Christmas episode is and their favorite character or scene. Then we will play a 10 minute game of "Fishing Frenzy" on Blooket. The second game with be a 10 minute game of "Crypto Hack". The third game will be a 10 minute game of "Cafe". The last 5 minutes, the learners can share what they will spend their Blooket tokens on. During the games, the learners can talk about "The Office" or concentrate on winning. Let's make it a party!!! "Cause there ain't no party like a Scranton party, cause a Scranton party don't stop."  

Below is a breakdown of what episodes the Blooket questions will be from each class:

Class 1: Season Two Episode Ten "Christmas Party"
Class 2: Season Three Episode Ten "A Benihana Christmas"
Class 3: Season Five Episode Ten "Moroccan Christmas"
Class 4: Season Six Episode Thirteen "Secret Santa"
Class 5: Season Seven Episode Eleven "Classy Christmas"
Class 6: Season Eight Episode Ten "Christmas Wishes" 
Class 7: Season Nine Episode Nine "Dwight Christmas"
 Class 8: The last class will a Blooket trivia game with questions coming from all 7 Christmas episodes of "The Office."  


During the class we will be using the platform Blooket. Blooket is a fun game that ask learners trivia questions and the learners earn coins to spend on upgrading their character. The trivia questions are used to test their "The Office" Christmas knowledge. Only the learners in the live class will have access to the game codes. Blooket is free but learners need an account to earn Blooket tokens. The learner can also play as a guest but they will not be able to earn Blooket tokens. Parental Guidance
The American version of "The Office" is rated TV-14. It is rated TV-14 due to mild profanity, mild sex/nudity, and mild alcohol/drugs/smoking. It is up to the parent to decide if their child is ready for TV-14 viewing. During the last class we will be using the platform Blooket. Blooket is a fun game that ask learners trivia questions and the learners earn coins to spend on upgrading their character. The trivia questions are used to test their office knowledge. I have a BA in Film. Film and television are my passions. I look forward to teaching class about film studies, the American version of "The Office", how to make a budget and fiction book clubs. I believe in making the classroom fun and educational. I also enjoy having open discussions about the class topic. I am also a big Disneyland fan.
