Halloween Movie Blooket Trivia Fall Camp

Spend this Halloween season competing against fellow learners in a fun Halloween Movie themed Blooket trivia game. Each week there is a different Halloween Movie themed Blooket game. Blooket is a free game that allows learners to test their knowledge by asking trivia questions. The learners earn virtual coins that they can spend in the Blooket market to upgrade their Blooket character. Blooket is free but learners do need an account to earn Blooket tokens. If the learner doesn’t have an account, they can play as a guest. At the start of the class, I will give learners the game code for them to enter on the site. Only the learners in the classroom will be able to play the game. The first 10 minutes we discuss the week's Halloween movie and get set up with the game. The last 20 minutes we play the Blooket game. All the movies are rated PG and learners will watch the movies before class. We will NOT be watching movies in class. The learners are free to discuss the weekly movie or trivia questions while playing the game. Here is a breakdown of the movies we will be watching for the game:

Class 1: The weekly movie "Hocus Pocus" 1993 - Rated PG. We will have a discussion about what the learners liked and did not like about the film then play a 20-minute Blooket game with "Hocus Pocus" themed questions. 

Class 2: The weekly movie "Casper" 1995 - Rated PG. 
We will have a discussion about what the learners liked and did not like about the film then play a 20-minute Blooket game with "Casper" themed questions. 

Class 3: The weekly movie "Goosebumps" 2015 - Rated PG. We will have a discussion about what the learners liked and did not like about the film then play a 20-minute Blooket game with "Goosebumps" themed questions. 


Class 4: The weekly movie "Muppets Haunted Mansion " 2021 - Rated PG. We will have a discussion about what the learners liked and did not like about the film then play a 20-minute Blooket game with "Muppets Haunted Mansion " themed questions. 


Class 5: The weekly movie "Corpse Bride" 2005 - Rated PG. We will have a discussion about what the learners liked and did not like about the film then play a 20-minute Blooket game with "Corpse Bride" themed questions. 


Class 6: The weekly movie "Halloweentown" 1998 - Rated G. We will have a discussion about what the learners liked and did not like about the film then play a 20-minute Blooket game with "Halloween Town" themed questions. 


Class 7: The weekly movie "Hocus Pocus 2" 2022 - Rated PG. We will have a discussion about what the learners liked and did not like about the film then play a 20-minute Blooket game with "Hocus Pocus 2" themed questions. 


Class 8: The weekly movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas" - Rated PG. We will have a discussion about what the learners liked and did not like about the film then play a 20-minute Blooket game with "The Nightmare Before Christmas" themed questions.
