US Grade 3 - 6
In this one-time class, learners will play a fun Kahoot about Earth Day and recycling. This Kahoot will include facts about Earth Day, how it started, when and why we celebrate it, as well as, what does it mean to recycle, what materials are recyclable, why it is important to recycle, and what happens if we don’t recycle. This is a great way to raise awareness to your child on how to help protect our plant Earth. *** Learners will need 2 devices (one for Kahoot! and one for Outschool/Zoom). It is possible to use both from a laptop and some tablets by using a split screen but I personally do not recommend those methods as it can be difficult for the learner. Please make sure you have the Kahoot! app downloaded on your child’s device or have www.Kahoot.it open in the internet browser on your child’s device. I will share the pin for the Kahoot! at the beginning of class. ***Remember you do not need a username and password to participate in a Kahoot!
Learning Goals
Learners will test their knowledge on recycling and Earth Day while also learning some fun facts about both!
