"The Office" (American) Trivia Game Using Blooket

Class Experience

This is a chance for students to test their knowledge about the American television show "The Office." Each class students will answer trivia questions on the platform Blooket about "The Office." During the game students will compete to earn the highest score. Any fan of "The Office" will love testing their knowledge. The trivia questions will come from the nine seasons of "The Office" but each week will be a different theme. Each week will have a new and different theme or center around a specific episode or character. The themes will be posted ahead of time in the classroom but any office fan should be able to pop in and answer the questions.

Once all the topics have been used, they will start over with new questions added. If a learner has a favorite character that does not have a dedicated game day, I can add one. I just need time to make the questions.

Parental Guidance
The American version of "The Office" is rated TV-14. It is rated TV-14 due to mild profanity, mild sex/nudity, and mild alcohol/drugs/smoking. However none of those topics will be part of the trivia questions. During the class we will be using the platform Blooket. Blooket is a fun game that ask learners trivia questions and the learners earn coins to spend on upgrading their character. The trivia questions are used to test their office knowledge. Blooket is free but learners need an account to participate. You can sign up for an account at: https://www.blooket.com/

Hello. My name is Michelle. For the past few years I have been tutoring English for non English speakers. In the past I have been a substitute teacher and hosted financial wellness classes. I have a BA in Film. Film and television are my passions. I look forward to teaching class about film studies, the American version of "The Office", how to make a budget and fiction book clubs. I believe in making the classroom fun and educational. I also enjoy having open discussions about the class topic. I am also a big Disneyland fan.
