Tell Me About Percy Jackson!

As parents, we want our children to be readers. After all, a person who reads lives many lives in the time others live only one. It broadens their horizons, gives them new ideas to explore, and opens their imagination to anything and everything that could be possible. Getting your child involved in a series of books is the holy grail of reading - there is always another book to read, always more story to tell! It's the best thing there ever could be. Until. Oh, until. Until the day they're caught up. And then... they want to talk about the series that has so captured their imagination. It's wonderful! Right up until it's not. Especially now, with more children home, and fewer out-of-home camp activities... Suddenly it's overwhelming. 

What's a parent to do?!? You can't quash that love of reading! That would be terrible! But... Do you have time to sit and read a dozen or so books to keep up with all the terms being thrown at you? That's where I want to help. I want to talk to your kids - specifically about Percy Jackson and the Olympians! The movies? Awesome! The books? Even better!
