In this book club, we will discuss different middle grade books.
Class experience
US Grade 4 - 6
In this book club, we will read and discuss different middle grade books. Books need to be read before each class. Class will start with introductions and conversation before moving into discussion. Discussion will consist of general questions for everyone to answer and comprehension questions for anyone to answer that wants to. Class will end with a preview of the next book. Students do not need to attend every class if they don't want to; they can choose which books they want to read....
Homework Offered
Students need to read each book before class.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

Students need access to each book. I recommend checking with a library first.
Parents may want to check content in each book to be sure it is appropriate for their child. Some books deal with difficult topics so parents may need to discuss outside of class with their students. We will discuss each book in class and if any topic is too sensitive, we will move past it quickly or address it thoroughly if that is what is needed.
