Let's Play Java Edition Minecraft - Junior (Ongoing)

When our children develop passions, we want to encourage them, even when (let's be honest) we sometimes get a little bit tired of hearing about the same game for hours on end. In Let's Play Minecraft - Junior, your kids will spend an hour telling me about their favorite texture packs, skins, builds, recipes, and designs. I will listen and ask questions so they can give me more detailed descriptions and explanations of game mechanics. Discussion between students about these topics is highly encouraged! We will strive towards conversations that are respectful and involve active listening. 

The focus of this class is developing conversation skills with peers and adults, as well as learning to work together to accomplish a goal. I will offer positive feedback about a topic that students feel strongly about and give them an opportunity to feel heard and see their opinions and knowledge are valued. Learners will need their own Java-edition Minecraft account for this class.
