Description
Class Experience
To stretch, to move, to breath and give the student's brain a short break...
No homework will be assigned. However, students are encouraged to repeat any of the exercises periodically when they need a little break from the computer. If your child finds this class beneficial, you might consider signing them up for an ongoing class.
Students will practice right from their desks, using only the chair as prop. No yoga mat is required. Comfortable clothing would be beneficial. Drinking water advisable.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please note: Like with any other physical activity, injuries can occur if students are not supervised. Yoga is not a substitute for medical diagnosis and treatment. Yoga practice might not be recommended for individuals with certain preexisting health issues. Please consult your doctor before practicing. Students are always encouraged to listen to their body. Pain and strong discomfort are signs that the student should slowly come out of the pose and maybe choose a different variation of the posture. Please send me a message (before class) about any preexisting health conditions that student might have or any recent surgeries or unresolved pains/issues.
