I highly recommend that your student continues practicing yoga, breathing and meditation. Finding the right teacher sometimes is key, as different teachers have different approaches and personalities. Find one that suits your child and consider signing up for regular classes.Class Experience
Mother's Day Sale: Use coupon code CESNOA4 to get $4 discount on my classes until May14th. In this class, we will practice yoga poses in a way that will give learners a full body workout (great for both boys and girls), with emphasis on balancing poses. Improving a student's balance can have many benefits: injury prevention, performance enhancement, confidence improvement, they even say it makes you smarter... But most importantly, it can be a fun and engaging workout for young learners. We fall out of a pose and we get back in! :) Breakdown of the 45-minute class: ~ 2 minutes welcome ~ 5 min breathing exercise ~ 10 minutes warm-up and gentle stretching ~ 18 min balancing poses ~ 5 minutes back bending postures ~ 5 min gentle stretching and cool down This class can be a great compliment to other activities/sports but can also constitute an amazing exercise on its own. Students will be offered different variations for poses, so that everybody can find what suits their body and experience level best. In other words, no experience is required and all body shapes are very welcome. Because we all can use a little bit of yoga! Please join us! This ongoing class does not have a topic/theme schedule, as all the classes will be similar in nature, however not identical. Some poses have many variations and will be modified based on student's level and experience.
Learning Goals
The goal of this class is to move and bring awareness to our body and mind. We all tend to spend a lot of time sedentary these days. But our body needs moment. I suggest bringing more exercise and happiness (endorphins) into our day.

Parental Guidance
Please note: In any physical activity, risk of serious physical injury is possible. Yoga is not a substitute for medical diagnosis and treatment. Yoga practice might not be recommended for individuals with certain preexisting health issues. Please consult your doctor before practicing. If your child has any preexisting health conditions, recent surgeries or unresolved pains, that I should we aware of, please bring it to my attention before class. By signing up for this class, you confirm that you are aware of the risk associated with yoga practice and that your child has no medical conditions which would prevent them from participating in yoga classes.
Students are always encouraged to listen to their body. Pain and strong discomfort are signs that the student should slowly come out of the pose and maybe choose a different variation of the posture. Students are encouraged to talk to the teacher before or after class to discuss any issues or questions they might have.
Supply List
Students are encouraged to have a yoga mat or a rag. Though yoga can be practiced on bare floor as well, it is just more comfortable to have a mat. Students can choose some additional props (ex: blocks, strap, cushion, blanket), however they are not required. Students are encouraged to practice barefoot as that allows for better grip and stability. Comfortable clothing to allow for free movement and drinking water would be a great plus. :)
