In this one-time class we will travel around the World and learn about Thanksgiving (and other harvest celebrations) traditions in other countries. We will use Nearpod and Kahoot!

Class Experience
In the beginning of the class, learners will be encouraged to share/discuss the Thanksgiving traditions in their country and family (they are welcome to share pictures and/or videos from previous Thanksgiving celebrations as well). After that we will talk about what Thanksgiving (and other harvest celebrations) traditions look like in other countries (material taught will retain a secular view). We will discuss the following countries: Grenada, Germany, Vietnam, Ghana, India, Japan and more....
I am a global nomad and have visited over 85 countries, passionate about sharing these experiences and knowledge with others. While visiting these countries I was fortunate enough to meet many local people that helped me get exposure and better understanding of the local cultures and traditions. Please note that the material discussed in this class will be a general overview of the countries traditions and will not go into historical details. Additional sources will include people that live in the countries discussed in class (I will be reaching out to different people and interviewing them about Thanksgiving traditions in their family and their country, including multiple perspectives).
