In this class we will become SUPERHEROES!!!! Class will begin with introductions and discussing some of the traits that superheroes have and how they use their power "for good" There will be a movement activity that allows us to "train" physically to become a superhero, followed by sharing time and a literacy activity packet. The activity packet will allow students to create their own superhero, design a cape and write down some of the qualities they find important. This class is a social, movement class that focuses on the kindness and selflessness of Superheroes. The qualities that they emulate and how we can be our best version of a Superhero in our daily lives. Superhero costumes are encouraged, but not required. Any other special Superhero memorabilia (stuffed animal, book, photo etc.) is also welcome!
