In this class, learners will identify various services the government provides and explore how taxes fund these essential services. They will also discuss different types of taxes and the importance of paying them, recognizing that taxes are a citizen's responsibility to support public goods.

In this class, learners will explore the fascinating world of neurons and brain development, delving into how these essential components shape behavior and cognitive function.

In this class, learners will complete a paper challenge designed to encourage perseverance while exploring the language they use during difficult tasks. We will reflect on the growth mindset and the vital role of positive self-talk when overcoming challenges.

In this class, learners will engage in discussions to explore and apply growth mindset principles, fostering resilience, perseverance, and a positive approach to challenges.

In this class, learners will learn to create and refine SMART goals, developing clear, achievable objectives to guide their personal and academic growth.

⭐︎Week of November 4th: Strength Jeopardy
In this class, learners will identify their own strengths and recognize the importance of understanding the strengths of others.

⭐︎Week of November 11th: Team Building Sentences
In this class, learners will engage in a sentence-building activity that fosters teamwork. The discussion will emphasize the importance of understanding and respecting different perspectives and ideas.

⭐︎Week of November 18th: Four Walls Statement Maker 
In this class, learners will reflect on their beliefs by responding to thought-provoking statements, categorizing each one by how strongly they agree or disagree, to gain insights into their personal perspectives.

⭐︎Week of November 25th: Growth Mindset Mantra 
In this class, learners will explore powerful growth mindset mantras that encourage resilience, effort, and a positive approach to challenges.

⭐︎Week of December 2nd: Growth Mindset Bookmarks 
In this creative class, learners will discover inspiring growth mindset mantras and explore their meanings. They'll design personalized bookmarks featuring their favorite mantras to keep motivation close by and share with others.

⭐︎Week of December 9th: Giving and Earning Respect
In this class, learners will discover the importance of respect, practice giving and earning it through role-playing and real-life scenarios, and develop strategies to build positive relationships.

⭐︎Week of December 16th: Self-Respect
In this class, learners will explore the concept of self-respect, discovering how to set boundaries, recognize their worth, and foster a positive self-image.
