Welcome to The Cozy Christmas Book Nook! Celebrate this magical time of year by fostering a love of reading. Wear your pajamas or comfy clothes, bring your book and surround yourself with signs of the season. Each week we will read a different chapter book and then meet to discuss our thoughts with the group. There will either be a literacy activity or art activity (which can be modified to meet individual needs) each class for learners to work on. Learners will read the books prior to class and then engage in a discussion with other students about common book study topics. Connections will be encouraged in the classroom and each learner will have a chance to share their thoughts throughout the class. Week of December 2 - Judy Moody and Stink: The Holly Joliday by Megan McDonald Week of December 9 - Horrible Harry and the Holidaze by Suzy Kline Week of December 16 - Christmas in Camelot by Mary Pope Osborne Book suggestions are welcome!
