Description
Class Experience
Students will learn a technique to create a smooth coat of polish and a few nail art techniques to create the nail design shown. Students will be encouraged to be creative and most importantly, have fun!
Trained nail technician.
There will not be homework, but a printable PDF practice sheet is provided for students to keep practicing after class.
1 file available upon enrollment* 4-5 Colors of Nail Polish (A base color, 2-3 colors for the "splotch" design, a white, black and a pink for the bunny) * 2-3 toothpicks or a small dotting tool * a small square of tin foil, folded * something to protect work surface (even a paper towel will work!) * a baby wipe, Qtip, paper towel, etc for clean up if polish gets on skin around nail (optional, but helpful)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Because of the possible messy nature of nail polish, it is recommended for an adult to be somewhat near, especially with students that don't have a lot of experience painting nails. As with all cosmetics, be aware of any allergies to any ingredients contained in the nail polish.
An attached printable PDF practice worksheet will be provided to be printed if wanted.
