There will not be homework, but a printable PDF practice sheet is provided for students to keep practicing after class.Class Experience
Students are encouraged to have fun and enjoy the process in this art class! Students will be taught a technique to achieve a smooth coat of polish and will learn a few basic nail terminology words. Students will then use household items (toothpick) or a dotting tool to add design to their nails to create Spring themed nail art. This class is beginner friendly, and the goal of the class is to have fun while being creative and learning a few design techniques. Students will be encouraged to make the nail art their own and enjoy the process more than focusing on the end result, although by the end of class they will hopefully have fun, Spring themed nails they love!
Learning Goals
Students will learn a technique to create a smooth coat of polish and a few nail art techniques to create the nail design shown. Students will be encouraged to be creative and most importantly, have fun!

Parental Guidance
Because of the possible messy nature of nail polish, it is recommended for an adult to be somewhat near, especially with students that don't have a lot of experience painting nails. As with all cosmetics, be aware of any allergies to any ingredients contained in the nail polish.
