Class Experience
Students will learn a technique for a smooth base coat of color- the beginning to any good nail design! Then using a toothpick, they will learn to create a floral design on two nails per hand, 4 nails total. Students are encouraged to enjoy the process and learning the technique while being creative and having fun! There will be a link to a printable practice worksheet that...
Students will learn a technique for a smooth base coat of polish and then how to create a floral design. They will be encouraged to be creative, make the design their own, enjoy the process, and have fun!
Trained Nail Tech.
No homework is assigned, but a link to a printable practice worksheet will be provided that students can use to practice designs on after class as well.
1 file available upon enrollment* 2 polish colors for the base coat (I used white and pink) * 3 additional colors for the design-leaves, flower middle and additional dots (I used purple, orange and green.) * a toothpick or dotting tool * a small piece of tin foil * a baby wipe or Qtip for cleanup around the nail (optional, but helpful) * anything wanted to protect the work surface student will be painting their nails on
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Because of the possible messy nature of nail polish, it is recommended that an adult is somewhat near and available during class. Also, please be aware of any allergies to any of the nail polish ingredients before using the polish.
