Spin and Write Sentences With CVC Words
What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
This class is perfect for children who have already mastered identifying letters. It is also good for those students who have participated in my "Let's Read CVC Words" class. In each class, students will spin a virtual wheel that will reveal our CVC word. Then a picture of the cvc will be shown. As a class (with my guidance), we will create a short sentence for each CVC word. Example sentence: The mug is red. Advanced students will be encouraged to write more complex sentences. I will focus on students starting each sentence with a capital letter and ending with a punctuation mark (.!?). I will also assist students with letter formation. If time allows, students will be able to draw a picture of each sentence. This class will cycle back to the beginning after the 5th week. Join me each class or pick and choose the classes that work best for your child! Below are the words we will use in a sentence in each class: Week 1-:Form sentences with "at" words (ex. cat, hat, bat, mat) Week 2-:Form sentences with "en" words (ex. ten, hen, pen, Ben) Week 3-:Form sentences with "ig" words (ex. big, dig, pig, wig) Week 4-:Form sentences with "ug" words (ex. hug, rug, bug, mug) Week 5-:Form sentences with "og" words (ex. dog, log, fog, jog)
Learning Goals
