Step into a world of magic and creativity with "Spellbinding Art: Watercolor Paintings Inspired by Hocus Pocus" In this enchanting class, young artists will bring the mystical charm of some iconic characters to life through watercolor paintings. We’ll explore four unique and bewitching projects inspired by the beloved movie *Hocus Pocus*. Each session will focus on watercolor techniques, while painting everything from magical potions to candles, the sisters, and more! 

This class is perfect for budding artists who love all things spooky and whimsical. Join us for a cauldron of fun as we paint, laugh, and conjure up some artistic magic! No prior watercolor experience is needed—just bring your creativity and a love for Halloween!

The topics  that will be taught include wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and bokeh. The artists will be encouraged to add their own creative touches to their art as well. 

The class structure will be as follows:
Greetings
Introduction of the painting we will be focusing on
Explanation and demonstration of watercolor techniques
Step-by-step demonstration of painting the painting for the session
While the artists are creating their masterpieces, they will also be encouraged to share Halloween jokes, riddles, and Would You Rather questions with each other.

My teaching style is very relaxed and encouraging. I focus on praise and positive reinforcement.

Parental Guidance
This class is a Halloween-themed class. The jokes, riddles, and Would You Rather questions will also be Halloween-themed. The artists will determine some of the topics of conversation as well.
Supply List
Watercolor Paper Water Color Paints Masking tape or washi tape A piece of cardboard larger than your paper Watercolor Pencils- these will be used to plan out our paintings to prevent trying to paint lighter colors over areas that may already be painted a darker color Watercolor Brushes 2 cups of water- one will be for cleaning the brushes and one will be kept clean to use on paper and mix colors Hair Dryer- this will be used to dry the layers of paint in between portions of the paintings Paper towel Spray Bottle
