Progress will be assessed through informal assessments. The students will be encouraged to share their art during each class period. They will also be encouraged to share thoughts and ideas with each other throughout the lesson.Class Experience
Would you rather paint a picture or play a game? In this class, you can do both. You will learn a little about painting a landscape while we socialize. Each learner should choose their own paint colors. While there will be a demonstration, creativity is encouraged. Get your reactions and questions ready in case a game of Would You Rather breaks out. While we are painting, the learners will also learn about painting techniques including blending paints. They will also learn about creating landscapes. The class will be structured as follows: Greetings Demonstration Painting and Socializing Virtual Art Gallery I will teach using a demonstration of how to create the landscape we will be working on There is no prior experience needed for students to create this painting in the format provided. *** I do not cancel classes due to low enrollment.
Learning Goals
Students will learn various drawing and painting techniques while creating a landscape painting that will include a tree while socializing with other members of the class.
