Sight Word Practice: Trace, Write, Build, Find, Use

In this ongoing sight words course, students will practice 2 sights words per class. We will use a worksheet that will be uploaded into the Outschool classroom to trace, write, build, find, and use each word. 
First, we will introduce a word by tracing it. The students will then write it themselves as we practice how to spell it. The next step will be finding the word in a small word search. The last step for each word is to write it in a sentence. As our students are just beginning to read and write, the teacher will provide a sentence for them to copy into the blank on their worksheet. (Examples: It is big. We run away.)

Ms. Katie will assess the students' needs throughout each class. It may be best on some occasions to write one sentence/phrase, two sentences/phrases, or just several phrases in a lesson.
