Private Tutoring Phonics, Sight Words and Math Tutoring-Licensed Teacher

Each week we will cover skills based on individual student needs. We will cover both ELA and Mathematics. Sample topics include: Sight words, phonics, cvc words, cvce words, three digit addition/subtraction with regrouping, math fluency, story writing etc. 

Classes typically follow the same structure. Each class begins with 5 minutes of share time. Followed by a new skill being modeled. Then the students will have the opportunity to practice using the new skill. 

My teaching style is is highly interactive and allows for students to take charge of their learning. However, it varies based on the age of my students. 

Younger students will engage with interactive games, simple animations and songs. 

Older students will engage with lesson materials through activities on Nearpod. 

Learners will have ample time to interact with me through interactive games, activities and discussion. 

Due to the nature of tutoring, no background knowledge is needed. Students will be taught skills that align with their individual needs.
