The grammar questions on the college entrance exams, including the PSAT, SAT, and ACT, can be notoriously difficult. Two key factors contribute to success in these sections: a solid understanding of grammar fundamentals and familiarity with the common types of grammar questions on the test. This self-paced online course is designed to help students master the intricacies of English grammar and improve their SAT, PSAT, and ACT scores. Over four weeks, students will review the foundations of grammar, study grammar topics commonly found on the ACT/PSAT/SAT, and apply their knowledge through practice questions. Topics will include a comprehensive review of the parts of speech, a deep dive into common grammar topics and rules found on the test, and targeted practice on specific grammar concepts. Some of the topics covered include colon usage, dash usage, punctuation rules, subject-verb agreement, pronoun-antecedent agreement, and combining independent clauses correctly. By the end of this course, students will have a stronger understanding of grammar rules and develop effective strategies for tackling grammar questions on standardized tests. This course is designed to equip students with the tools they need to succeed on the grammar section of the SAT and other college entrance exam
