Parental Guidance
Parental Guidance - I take real SAT questions from the College Board. I am not afficilated with them. They own the content, and I use this in my teaching. No sharing is permitted. Everything is age-appropriate. Khan Academy- use for concepts YouTube videos- I insert them in my slides so I have control over them.. Any video I put in the assignments will first have the ads removed. Canva-It is used for teaching. They also will store and complete assignments and notes. It is monitored and an approved resource.
Pre-Requisites
Students should be able to read a passage and explain why they think a question is wrong or right. Some basic knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and math skills is required. Very poor skills may require additional help or another class.
Supply List
There could, every once in a while, be a printout. Everything else is linked through Canva. It allows for downloading and printing of my notes.
You will need a basic calculator for some of the basic stuff, and we will use Desmos online for learning to graph certain types of questions.
