"I answered C. because it just sounds right..." ...That's the most common phrase I hear when tutoring for the Grammar & Language section of the SAT. The problem is that intuition can't tell you how to answer some of the most common SAT questions, like whether you need a comma or a semicolon to connect two independent clauses. I have a BA and MA in linguistics, as well as a minor degree in English literature. I have been preparing students for standardized tests, like the SAT, for three years.

Homework
Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: After each class, students will have approximately one hour of homework. The homework may include a pre-made Quizlet set, passage practice, or a worksheet.Assessment
Frequency: includedDetails: A pre-test will be sent to you as soon as you enroll. You can send it back to me, and I'll score it for you and give you some tips. After the fourth class, I'll send you a post-test that you can send back to see how you've improved.
Passage practice will come from the Digital exams that the College Board has released on their site. Quizlet will be used for homework.
