Students will be given an assessment in their first class to be put at an appropriate reading level. Then after the assessment students will be working one on one to improve phonics, sight words, spelling, fluency and reading comprehension. Depending on interest and skills there may be lessons where Nearpod is used for students to follow slides, read text and respond to questions.
