Description
Class Experience
I am a licensed teacher with over 25 years of teaching, tutoring and coaching experience in public, private and homeschool settings. I am Orton Gillingham trained by the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana and Kindergarten Orton Gillingham trained by the M.A. Rooney Foundation. For the past three years I have worked in a Montessori school setting.
No homework.
Children should come to class with a jar or container that contains several identical objects. These could be pennies, marbles, pebbles, wooden beads or anything of the like. At least 5 objects would be ideal, but more is also fine.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be observed and interacted with throughout the lesson.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
