Assessments Offered
At the beginning and end of this class, your learner will receive a Reading Check which is a light assessment I have created to allow me to understand, hear, and rate the level of reading proficiency your student has at the start of class. The same assessment will be given at the end of class to compare results. The assessment consists of 2-3 paragraphs along with 3 comprehension questions that check understanding. Upon completion of both assessments, parents will receive written feedback from me on our next steps and recommendations for further learning. Parent(s)/guardian(s) will receive feedback on their learner's progress in the class. Learners will have time to check in with me throughout the class.Grades Offered
Learners should come to class prepared with a notebook or piece of paper, along with a pencil or pen to write with.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
