In this ongoing class we will learn the letters of the alphabet and their sounds along with activities, show and tell and some exciting animals.

Each week we will learn a letter of the alphabet, the sound it makes, practice tracing the uppercase and lowercase letter and learning about an animal that begins with that letter. If time allows, we will also do a small craft. In the middle of the class we will take a brain break and get up and get some exercises or play a short game. At the end of class we will have a show and tell to show things that begin with that week's letter. Join in at any time! Let's prepare for beginning reading by learning our alphabet with friends and some interesting animals! Week 1: The letter A: Alligator, Apples, Ants Week 2: The letter B: Bear, Ball, Batman Week 3: The letter C: Cat, Caterpillar, Cow Week 4: The letter D: Dog, Dessert, Donut Week 5: The letter E: Elephant, Egg, Elf -to be continued....

Hey there! I am Mrs. Tori and I am so happy to meet you-Let me tell you a little about myself. I am interested in teaching all things creative including sewing, art and budgeting mixed with some fun and engaging language arts, phonics, reading, science and math. I have a Masters in Early Childhood Education. I have taught in the public school, private school, and online settings as well as teaching kids to sew and create. I have taught all core subjects in grades K-3, as well as sewing and embroidery. I love getting to know my learners and patiently helping them succeed and develop a love of learning. I can’t wait to meet your child in class. I have two adult children, ages 22 and 23, a husband who is a Pediatric ER Nurse, one dog and two cats.
