This is a Pre-K/Kindergarten ongoing weekly subscription class that will meet 2 times a week from mid-August through mid-May. You may subscribe/pause/cancel/re-subscribe at any time. The curriculum will cover standards that each learner needs to be successful in Pre-K and Kindergarten. I used to be a Kindergarten teacher in the classroom and now love teaching that age on Outschool. Join in at any time to learn many foundational skills including letters, letter sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, patterns, rhyming words, syllables, word families, sight words, name practice, social skills and much more. I am interested in teaching all things creative including sewing, art and budgeting mixed with some fun and engaging language arts, phonics, reading, science and math. I have a Masters in Early Childhood Education. I have taught in the public school, private school, and online settings as well as teaching kids to sew and create. I have taught all core subjects in grades K-3, as well as sewing and embroidery. I love getting to know my learners and patiently helping them succeed and develop a love of learning. I can’t wait to meet your child in class. I have two adult children, ages 22 and 23, a husband who is a Pediatric ER Nurse, one dog and two cats. We have just recently moved to the beach so I will be sure to include some pictures of that in my classes! I hope to see you soon!
