PreCalculus is a rigorous course designed to prepare students for Calculus. Students must have completed Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry before enrolling. Algebra 3 and Trigonometry concepts are part of this course. This course is presented in 2 semesters. Homework will be required but answer keys will be posted. Homework Offered
Homework will be given and students will be expected to complete and self-check their answers.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Assessments will be given weekly or by unit. If students would like a grade, they must turn in assessments.Grades Offered
If you would like a grade, you must turn in assessments, participation in class (either privately via chat or with everyone) as well as work on Desmos activities will also be considered.
Algebra 2 and High School Geometry
Curriculum will be provided from the instructor. A printer is required to print notes/assignments Or an app that can write on a PDF such as Kami. A graphing Calculator such as a TI -84 is highly recommended. Paper and writing utensils will be necessary to take notes and to do practice problems.
