I will teach this class using power point slides, the zoom whiteboard and Desmos. The topics of this class are: The Distance and Midpoint Formulas, Circles and Functions, Properties of Functions, Functions and their graphs, Quadratic functions and their zeros, Solving Polynomial Functions, Rational functions, The graph of a Rational function, Composite Functions, Inverse Functions, Exponential Functions, Logarithmic Functions, Graphing Logarithmic Functions, Trigonometric Functions, the Unit Circle, Graphs of Sine and Cosine Functions, Graphs of the Tangent and Cotangent Functions, Analytic Trigonometry, Applications of Trigonometric Functions, and Analytic Geometry. The student will practice problems after I show the student examples. We will move slowly or faster according to the student understanding.

Students will increase and improve their knowledge on Algebra and Trigonometry and will learn more about functions and their graphs.Other Details

There is no scary or violent content in this class.
Pre-Requisites
For this class the student needs to know, arithmetic, fractions, order of operations and exponents, multi-step equations, inequalities the rectangular coordinates and how to graph a line and find the slope of a line.
Supply List
Students will need paper, pencils, an eraser, a ruler and a scientific calculator that has the sine, cosine and tangent functions.
