In this flexible schedule class, students will perform a full 30-minute musical, with costumes, backdrops, music, dancing, and dialogue! This is a flexible schedule class. Learners will not meet live. Your child will work asynchronously with three different teachers who will help strengthen students’ skills in basic singing, movement, and acting techniques. Students will record their performances individually, and then the teachers will edit the videos together into a full virtual play. Students can use flipgrid to record scenes and respond to the scenes of others, and must work together when integrating solo performances, either through flipgrid or through the classroom. Although students record independently from home, they will work together to achieve musical success in the final project. (If you do not want your child to be recorded and/or for that recording to be seen by other children’s families, this may not be the class for you).
