Class Experience

Beginner Level
This class is a great way for your student to begin their journey into the world of music! 
- We will learn about the staff, clefs, and rhythm, including quarter notes, half notes, dotted half notes, and whole notes. 

- Each class includes practice of material learned, which is essential to musical training. 

- We will explore different rhythm patterns and practice finding the notes on the staff. 

Since this is a beginning level class, no prior knowledge of music is required, although having a basis of music can be helpful - all are welcome! 

Topics discussed:

Class 1: Introduction to the staff, musical alphabet, treble clef and bass clef
Class 2: Reading notes on the treble clef, rhythm
Class 3: Reading notes on the bass clef, rhythm
