Beginner Level
This class is a great way for your student to begin their journey into the world of music! - We will learn about the staff, clefs, and rhythm, including quarter notes, half notes, dotted half notes, and whole notes. - Each class includes practice of material learned, which is essential to musical training. - We will explore different rhythm patterns and practice finding the notes on the staff. Since this is a beginning level class, no prior knowledge of music is required, although having a basis of music can be helpful - all are welcome! Topics discussed: Class 1: Introduction to the staff, musical alphabet, treble clef and bass clef Class 2: Reading notes on the treble clef, rhythm Class 3: Reading notes on the bass clef, rhythm Miss Brooke is very patient and is passionate about teaching music to her students. She can't wait to meet your learner and dive into the exciting world of music!
