Hello! Join us for a fun-filled journey into the world of music where we'll be singing, dancing, and discovering all about different musical styles! Have you ever listened to classical music? How about jazz? Do they sound the same to you? Can you feel the beat? In this class, learners will meet once a week to explore a new type of music, from classical to jazz and beyond. We'll dive into a variety of genres, discussing how to find the beat, feel the rhythm, and even sense the emotions behind the music. We'll explore whether the tone of a piece is happy, sad, or something in between, all while having a blast singing, dancing, and learning together. This class isn't about musical therapy; it's about enjoying and understanding the music we listen to every day. By the end of our time together, learners will leave with a great understanding of the instruments in an orchestra, as well as some key musical terms. Our teachers are fun, energetic, and passionate about connecting with learners through music. This class is all about open discussion, hands-on activities, and lots of interaction with both the teacher and other students. No prior experience or knowledge is needed to join—just bring your instruments, your dancing shoes, and let's get started on this musical adventure!
