Students will learn the art of song in the classic “Somewhere over the rainbow.” We will be introduced to multiple instruments and learn the difference between their sounds. This class is designed to be interactive to later the instruments to create a group song.

I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music, playing guitar for 20 years, learning from the best teachers and professors in the world. As a performer on cruise ships and opening for Ky-mani Marley and Kandace Springs I have the ability to share the experience of professional guitar playing.
I believe no one is too cool for the blues!
Teaching all styles to all ages, in group settings as well as individualized lessons. As a music educator I make it easy to understand and learn. As for the guitar, techniques in simple guitar playing to advanced improvisation in jazz are all topics I will cover. In addition chords, reading music, playing in styles like blues, jazz, funk, rock, reggae, folk, country and many more.
I have taught in the Pittsburgh Public Schools and have taught over 4000 students on Outschool.
