Photoshop for Beginners- 1:1 Class!

Students will be editing along with me as we learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop! 

I will be sharing my screen and allowing students to see each key click as I show them the basic tools and functions of the program. Each photo that we use will be provided by me as we edit and change elements of photos and designs.

The beginner course is as follows, but can change and adapt as a student needs.

Weeks 1-3 will be learning the interface and basic tools of the program

Week 4 will be focused on Layers and the different layer types and blending modes

Week 5 will be focused on Shapes- how to build and manipulate them

Week 6 will be focused on Text and all the things you can do with it

Week 7 will be focused on Masking- what it means and how to make it work

Week 8 will be Color, Contrast, and Hue Adjustments

Week 9 will be Filters, Content Aware and Healing Tools, as well as Selection Tools

Weeks 10-12 will be entirely focused on final projects and putting all of these elements together. Each student will complete their own collage showcasing everything they have learned, and presenting it to the class. I will be there for assistance and critique as needed.
