Intermediate Level
In this six week class, learners will be reading the book "Percy Jackson and the Olympians Book 2: The Sea of Monsters." This is a self-paced class so there are no live classes. Learners will read the book when it is convenient for them. The learners will engage the class by answering questions that I post in the classroom. Once a week I will assign Blooket homework. Blooket is a fun trivia game that test the learner's comprehension. Each week the questions will be from the assigned reading chapters. Blooket is a free site. Learners can play as a guest or sign up for a free account to participate. Only my learners will have access to my game codes. There is no interaction between leaners during the games. You can sign up for an account at: https://www.blooket.com/ There will also be a 10-question worksheet for them to complete. The worksheet I created using Canva, but the learner does not need an account to access it. I will post it in the classroom. They will be able to download it and print it out. During the week there will also be fun would you rather questions posted in the classroom. The questions will be themed around the weekly reading assignments. If a learner has any questions about the reading or don't understand something, they can post the question in the classroom or message me directly. Thank you for taking a look at my class. The leaner will complete class having read "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters." They will be able to compare the book to the movie. They will also be able to answer questions about the characters and their own personal quest.

Parental Guidance
The Percy Jackson book series is recommended for children in the class age bracket; however this book does contain fighting and bulling of one of the characters.
