It’s designed for students who have struggled for years in math classes, who need to build their confidence in math, or who are repeating pre-Algebra or Algebra 1. How does it work? Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. Reason abstractly and quantitatively. Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others. Attend to precision. Look for and make use of structure. Look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will use the Pattern Explorer book. Students do not need to purchase them. I have a license to use and permission for use on Outschool.
